Coliving and Coworking In The Himalayas

Are you bouncing from one fancy hotel to another, or maybe you’re trying to get some work done in a bustling hostel, but something just feels… off. One day, the Wi-Fi is as reliable as a leaky faucet, the next, you’ve got people interrupting you left and right, and don’t even get me started on the hit-or-miss food situation. In any case, getting some office work done? Not happening.

Making Gune and Celebrating Gangaur

Gune is a traditional sweet snack made during the Gangaur festival in some states of North India. It’s the main sweet offered to Goddess Parvati during the Gangaur prayer. Usually, it’s made with refined wheat flour and white sugar, but I like wheat flour and sugar/jaggery. I learnt about this recipe from my mother-in-law after getting married.

A Summer Trip to Nilgiris Mountains – Ooty, Coonoor, and Coimbatore

Ooty is called the Queen of Hill Stations because it’s so pretty, with old-fashioned charm and amazing views. Coonoor is quieter but just as lovely, with hills and valleys covered in mist. Whether we were exploring botanical gardens, savoring freshly brewed tea, going on nature walks or driving through winding roads that snake through lush greenery – we had wonderful time in hills.

Enchanted Escapes: Romancing the Hills of Mahabaleshwar

I’ve been hanging around Pune for the past few years, and let me tell you, I’ve made my way to Mahabaleshwar 3 times. And you know what? Not a single time have I thought, “Oh, maybe I’ve had enough of this place.” Nope, it’s just that kind of spot. Folks from Pune and Mumbai often see it as a quick day getaway, and some even turn it into a yearly tradition. And guess what? I think I’m slipping into that rhythm too. Can’t blame them – Mahabaleshwar’s got that magic.
