Dawn to Dusk: Silhouette Stories from Kasarsai Dam

Kasarsai Dam is 30-40 mins drive away from Hinjewadi, Pune. The close proximity and tranquil surroundings make it a popular destination for Punekars. I got a chance to visit it during sunrise, when the place is wrapped in sheer silence with no one around, and during sunset, when it transforms into a lively spot.

In this blog, I will share some pictures – my friends and I captured during the golden hours. I hope you like them.

Waiting for the golden hour.

Sunrise from Kasarsai Dam

Just raw nature and you ❤

During sunset, this dam place attracts many Punekars. Some visit for photography, others for picnics, boating, or enjoying a quick meal while watching the sunset. Many like me come here to escape the city and soak in the beautiful sunset.

Hmm, so what is your reason for visiting Kasarsai Dam ?

Posing for Pre-wedding photoshoot and a couple just watching the sunset.

The last boat ride.

Can you hear the sound of a carefree heart?

She’s moving forward
Creating new paths
Dancing with chaos
Finding her rhythm that lasts

Sometimes taking pauses

Sometimes just flowing
Like the wild wild wind
Constantly growing
🙂

Which is your favourite golden hour—sunrise or sunset?
