Nestled within the serene Rajaji National Park near Rishikesh, the Beatles Ashram, officially known as Chaurasi Kutiya, gained worldwide fame in 1968. This is where the legendary Beatles stayed to learn transcendental meditation under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, leaving a lasting mark on the world of music and spirituality.

The ashram is vast, with nature slowly reclaiming its space, giving the site a rustic, tranquil charm. It was thoughtfully designed, featuring meditation pods, lecture halls, and visitor rooms equipped with modern amenities of its time. Walking through the ashram, the sound of the distant Ganga and the lush greenery around create a perfect atmosphere for meditation and quiet introspection.
Tips for Visiting Beatles Ashram
- Best Time – Early mornings or evenings are the best to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Visiting hours – 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Entry fee – Indian citizens: INR 150/-
Students: 40/-
Senior citizens: 75/-
Others: 600/- - Wear Comfortable shoes, carry water bottle, and a camera to capture the rustic beauty.
